A member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps lost his life earlier today, March 7, 2024, as kidnappers abducted a Chinese road engineer at Obangede, Okehi local government area of Kogi state.

The deceased NSCDC officer was said to be one of the security agencies attached to the Obangede road in Okehi local government area.
As of the time of filing this report, the personal details of the deceased officer are yet to be confirmed. It was only confirmed that he is a native of Okaito, Okehi local government area.
