KOTRAMA Boss Visits Gov Ododo Over Appointment

The Managing Director of Kogi State Traffic Management Agency (KOTRAMA), Engr. Abdulrazaq Aminu (Okakanda) on Friday, 15th of March 2024 paid an official visit to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and in the company of some APC stalwarts and the State (White Party) Members.
Speaking during the visit, the Managing Director expressed absolute appreciation to the state government for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to serve the people once more, just as he expressed unflinching determination to excel in supporting the present administration on its quest to consolidate the sterling legacies of the previous administration.
Engr. Okakanda noted that the Agency will soon commence a review of its policies and programmes in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation and every other relevant organization as part of efforts to align them with the Agenda of the present administration, in strengthening traffic regulations, control and management in the State.
He opined that the close working relationship with other relevant organisations is bound to result in a considerable agreement that will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Traffic Management Agency towards achieving the desired greater Kogi goal.
Responding, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman welcomed Engr. Abdulrazaq Aminu and team for the visit and praises the him for believing in his candidature and our party APC, and putting necessary and positive efforts to ensure his victory.
He added that Engr. Abdulrazaq Aminu has done well to deserve this current elevation and even much more, adding that, the goal is to consolidate on the legacies of our overall leader, Alh. Yahaya Bello, and thus no one has genuinely worked for the party will go unrewarded.
He expressed optimism that the New KOTRAMA Boss will meet the yearnings of the people and urged them to quicken the digitalisation process of the Agency’s operations to ensure more efficiency and improvement in every aspect.
While reiterating that the public servants in Kogi State need exposure to overseas training to deepen their knowledge, Alh. Ododo urged the Agency to work towards achieving the lofty idea of capacity building because it is vital to good performance.
In the august gathering also was the Commissioner for Local Government Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Ozigi Deedat who also extolled Engr. Abdulrazaq Aminu (Okakanda) for his dedication, absolute loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government and maturity at all times. He said, he is a true protege of Alh. Yahaya Bello who understands his signs and orders.
Hon. Deedat said, it was the fact that he has proven himself to be a grateful soul and also a good subject of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello who understands his instructions he has once again attained this height, today. He further expressed confident in him to take the agency to an enviable height.
Other members in the visiting team included the Commissioner for Rural Electrification, Hon. Muktar Muhammed, APC members drawn from the 21 Local Government Areas, Former Senior Legislative Aide to Former Senator Nurudeen Abatemi, and now Member of Presidential Crew, Hon. Abdullateef Onusi, former Senior Legislative Aide to former House of Reps Member, Dr. Jerry Ohikere, former Senior Special Assistant on Logistics to Kogi State govt, and currently Special Assistant to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Mamman Sanusi Ovatua, Business Tycoons and APC women leaders, Hajiya Husseinat Ogara and Hajiya Rukayat, among others.
