Communique regarding the peace pact agreement convened at the Palace of Ohinoyi Ebira

Re-Actions Capable of breach of law, order and peaceful Co-existence in Ihima dated April 8, 2024 Addressed to the Honorable Commissioner of Police Kogi State by

Nat. President Ochiga Descendants Union (ODU).

His Royal Majesty Ohinoyi Ebira, Saaaaki Alh (Dr.) Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, hosted a meeting with the Council of Ohis, traditional rulers in Ihima, National President of Ihima Welfare Association, and representatives of Emani Clan.

The purpose of the meeting was to address ongoing issues that could lead to instability in Ihima district of Ebiraland. Following discussions and contributions from all parties involved, the resolutions reached are as follows:

- Apologies to be exchanged between the complainant and defendant

- Recognition that no individual can lead a community where traditional rulers exist

- Agreement for Ogasube of Ure clan to be acting custodian of Ihima cultural customs and should be handed over to the Obobanyi Emani upon emergence.

- Advice for Emani Clan to expedite the nomination of Obobanyi Emani for approval by Ohi Ihima, with a reminder that any breach of tradition will be sanctioned

- Instructions to direct all traditional matters through the Ohis to the Ohinoyi, with consequences for those who disregard protocol

- Emphasis on respect for elders and kindness towards the younger generation within Emani Clan and Ihima district

- Warning against undermining the resolutions, with consequences involving His Majesty, the Ohis, and peace-loving individuals

- Directives for Emani Clan to deter the use of vulgar language and improper behavior in their youth

- Clarification that dethroning Est does not bring celebration, and Obobanyi Emani is accountable for his actions and advice received

- Encouragement for proactive ideas to elevate the community

- Call for prompt investigation of the embezzled 40 million Naira allocated to Ihima Micro-Finance Bank by the President General of Ihima Welfare Association

Implementation of the aforementioned resolutions has since began, led by His Majesty Saaaki Alh (Dr.) Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, with a closing prayer offered.
