Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has issued a fresh mandate to his political allies and stakeholders, prioritizing community development over group memberships.

In a strategic effort to decentralize political influence, the Governor is calling for a shift away from "paper-thin" loyalty toward measurable progress at the grassroots level.

The Governor’s directive challenges the traditional culture of belonging to multiple political organizations. According to the administration, the era of holding titles without providing a service record is coming to an end. Instead, stakeholders are being asked to funnel their resources and energy into the specific wards where they are registered to vote.

Moving beyond symbolic support to provide real-world benefits for local citizens.

 Ensuring that the administration’s success is measured by the quality of life at the polling unit level by narrowing the focus of his supporters to their immediate neighborhoods, Governor Ododo hopes to cut through the clutter of state-level political posturing.
