2023: Uhuotu, A Merchant But Pdp Is Not For Sale…. - Concerned PDP Members
March 17, 2022
For so long, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Kogi state chapter as led by the septuagenarian Engineer Sam Uhuotu has been one unit of his personal business conglomerates, and this, amongst so many reasons, is why the party can not win meaningful elections in Kogi state, especially in Kogi central.
Having said this, it is important that we X-ray some of the activities of the Uhuotu-led State Working Committee which has become synonymous to a “drug cartel and crime syndicate” like-organization.
In 2019, aside the bone-crushing and crude methods of barbarism employed by the ruling All progressives Congress, APC, Uhuotu traded party in exchange for morsels. For a man whose greed outweighs his integrity, nothing was sacrilegious for him to do. To trade the party, PDP and the hopes of millions of her supporters, is no big deal for our “merchant of Venice”.
We will not forget in a hurry how the Uhuotu-led State Working Committee were PDP at noon and APC by nightfall. One wonders the vampire-like attitude of these men driven by their insatiable thirst for cheap wealth.
2023 beckons and Engr. Uhuotu is at it again; leading the party to the slaughter slab with his penchant for trading the party for his personal gains. Like the proverbial monkey who dances shamelessly in the market square when a bunch of bananas is dangled before it, the party chairman has already started dancing shamelessly with a few wads of dollar notes dangled before him.
Concerned PDP members are aware of the shady dealings that exists between Engr Uhuotu and some would-be party members and has also promised to deliver the Kogi central senatorial ticket provided the right price is agreed upon.
Concerned PDP members are watching keenly and would not hesitate to come bare with the truth if Engr. Uhuotu does not retract his steps and provide for a level-playing ground for party members.
