Ekiti State University Alumni Association (Global Body) Visits His Royal Majesty, The Ohinoyi EbiraA delegation of Ekiti State University, led by its Global President, Engr. Dipo Bamisaye, along with other national Officials and State branch delegates, paid homage to His Royal Majesty, The Ohinoyi Ebira. Dr. Asiwaju Dotun Adetuberu (PhD), Director-General of the Ekiti State Homeland Intelligence Agency is also part of the the delegation.
The purpose of their visit was to seek the Royal blessings of the Ohinoyi Ebira as they convened in Kogi State for their annual alumni meeting.
The association acknowledged the central role of Kogi State and Ebiraland and the historical ties between the Ebira and Ekiti people. They also commended the efforts of former Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello in improving security, and the continued focus on security and development by the current Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
His Majesty welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation for their loyalty in recognizing the importance of the Ohinoyi Stool by paying their respects upon arrival.
The Ohinoyi affirmed the positive impact of both the previous and current administrations on security and other developmental projects within the state.
Finally, His Majesty encouraged the delegation to reach out to the palace if they faced any challenges during their stay. He offered his prayers and wished them a successful meeting and a safe journey home after the program.
