X-RAYING THE  SUITABILITY OF DR. BOLUFEMI ROTIMI FOR THE GOVERNORSIP OF KOGI STATE IN THE YEAR 2024

With the creation of Kogi State in 1991, there has been a very serious yearning for a selfless and passionate leader who could deliver the state from the clutches of poverty and political imbalances that have always reduced the state to one without any meaningful socioeconomic and infrastructural development. 

Indeed, Kogi state desire a leader with sterling qualities, that could pull the State out of the doldrums of underdevelopment, stagnation and backwardness. Regrettably, leaders with these type of qualities have always eluded the state since it was birthed. 

However, the 2023 election provides another golden opportunity for us to rewrite the history of time, by voting for the right candidate, with the mindset to serve and transform our ailing State. The incontrovertible truth of the whole matter is that, we are at the threshold of monumental history. To be sure, 2023 Governorship election in Kogi will no longer be *deja Vu*, because it's going to dazzle detractors, confound pundits and surprise book makers. Greater emphasis must be placed on the fact that people are totally fed up with selfish and corrupt politicians, who have no regard for human dignity.

As we painstakingly scramble for a new era, I want to place on record that *Dr. Rotimi Bolufemi* is the candidate to beat, for the Lugard House in 2023. Over time, *Rotimi*  has been tested and has been discovered to be a *super deluxe personality, an astute administrator and a passionate philanthropist*. From our rating, he is far ahead of other contestants and better positioned to articulate the much needed transformation being clamoured for in all these years of Kogi State's existence. 

In many quarters, *Dr. Bolufemi* has been succinctly portrayed as a  selfless leader and a philanthropist. He has transformed the lives of so many Kogites in a variety of ways:  empowered a lot of people to become self reliant, paid hospital bills for patients, and many more to his credit. Amazingly, most of the people *Bolu* assisted in the past are neither related to him, nor were they relating with him  before both the solicited and the unsolicited assistance came to play in their lives. Aboundant evidences of selflessness and uniquenes of *Dr Bolu* are what we have factored upon to do our present rating and consequently, our recommendation of *Dr. Bolufemi Rotimi* for the Lugard house in the next gubernatorial election in Kogi State.

This phenomenally rare personality is indeed a man to support very vehementely. Only very few people in Kogi State have toed the line of  good things done by this gentleman, *Bolu.* For these reasons, Kogites, both at home and in diaspora, must pull their resources together, to support his aspirations to the converted seat of the Governor of Kogi State. We should henceforth, shun and discard the politics of ethnic bigotry, tribal leaning and parochial interests, because the coming of this man(Bolu), will  rejuvenate the silver lining and put a very bright light on Kogi State's political horizon.
