The Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad have been duly informed of a collapsed bridge along Ozuma road in Okengwe district of Okene local government which connect the town to the cemetery and other farm centres.

The Chairman had forwarded the report to the appropriate quarters for immediate action. While we await professionals to access the bridge and come up with appropriate design and modalities for the repairs, arrangements for palliative measures are being put in place for easy access to the cemetery and farming areas.

The Chairman appreciate everyone for their show of concern in the last few days when the incident occurred and assured the people that government will expedite action on it repair within a reasonable time.
